Steel window kits are designed for use on Type 4 and 12 enclosures, while stainless steel window kits are suitable for Type 4, 4X, 12, and 13 enclosures in both indoor and outdoor applications where corrosion is a concern. These kits can be easily installed by creating a cutout in the enclosure and securing the window and frame in place. The frames are made from heavy-gauge steel featuring an ANSI 61 gray polyester powder finish over pretreated surfaces or heavy-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish. The window is constructed from 0.25 in. (6 mm) acrylic for steel kits or 0.25 in. (6 mm) polycarbonate material for stainless steel kits. To ensure a watertight seal around the perimeter of the window and frame, oil-resistant gasketing is included. All necessary mounting hardware is provided with the kits.
