The Hoffman CDSC36328 is a Concept™ disc type 12 enclosure made from gray steel, with dimensions of 36.00 x 32.00 x 8.00 inches. This enclosure is designed for applications that require stylized design features and includes a preferred cutout for disconnect switches or circuit breakers, accepting major brands. It is supplied with a Hoffman-integrated tool-to-open handle and furnished with enclosures. Key features include a welded door interlock bracket, a door latching system with either 2-point or 3-point installation, and comprehensive instructions for locating and installing the disconnect. The hardware kit contains a padlocking door handle, panel mounting nuts, grounding hardware, and sealing washers for mounting holes. Constructed with 16 or 14 gauge steel, the seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, and the external body features a 90-degree formed flange, with bonding provisions on the door and a grounding stud on the body. The enclosure has mounting holes for direct and optional external brackets, hidden hinges for a clean aesthetic, removable corner-formed doors, and provisions for an optional high-impact thermoplastic data pocket. It includes a seamless foam-in-place gasket, a door alignment device for doors wider than 30 inches, and a latching system that interlocks with the disconnect handle for added safety.
