Concept™ enclosures are designed for machine control applications and feature a sleek styling complemented by flush quarter-turn latches and a durable finish. They are offered in various configurations including solid or window single-door and two-door landscape versions, as well as flush-mount and sloped-top styles for versatile application and mounting options. The two-door landscape models allow for full-width access and simplified panel installation. Constructed from 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel, the enclosures feature continuously welded and ground smooth seams, corner-formed doors, and easy-to-remove hinge pins with built-in captivation clips. High-torque threadless studs and fasteners secure the doors, while a minimum-width body flange maximizes the door opening to 210 degrees. Additional attributes include an external formed body flange, panel mounting studs compatible with optional Concept panels and accessories, and mounting holes for optional external wall-mount brackets. The enclosures are equipped with hidden hinges, interchangeable doors that can be removed easily via clip-style hinge pins, seamless foam-in-place gaskets, and quarter-turn slotted latches. For doors wider than 30 inches, there is a door alignment device, and 60-inch high enclosures include four hinges. The body features a grounding stud and bonding provision on the door, excluding window-door models, and provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket are available on the right-hand hinged door of two-door models. Each kit includes a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts, panel grounding hardware, and sealing washers, while single-door enclosures with heights of 42 inches or more incorporate a three-point latch system with a quarter-turn, slotted latch. The window-door enclosures showcase a clear polycarbonate window aligned with the door surface, and the mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures surrounds the entire enclosure, ensuring a comprehensive design. Two-door enclosures present an overlapping door design for full-width access and a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door equipped with a flush slotted insert, along with an illustrated instruction sheet for convenient assembly.
