Concept™ enclosures are designed for machine control applications, featuring streamlined styling with flush quarter-turn latches and a durable finish. These enclosures are available in solid or window single-door and two-door landscape, flush-mount, and sloped-top versions, offering significant application and mounting flexibility. The two-door landscape models allow for full-width access and simplify panel installation. Constructed from 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel, the seams are continuously welded and ground smooth with corner-formed doors. The design includes easy-to-remove hinge pins with a built-in captivation clip, high-torque threadless studs and fasteners on the door, and a minimum-width body flange that maximizes the door opening to 210 degrees. Additional features include an external formed body flange, panel mounting studs compatible with optional Concept panels and accessories, and mounting holes on the back for optional wall-mount brackets. Hidden hinges and interchangeable doors are easily removed by pulling clip-style hinge pins. The enclosures also incorporate a seamless foam-in-place gasket, quarter-turn slotted latch(es), and a door alignment device for doors wider than 30 inches. Enclosures that are 60 inches high feature four hinges, while a grounding stud is present on the body with a bonding provision on the door (not applicable for window-door models). There are provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket on right-hand hinged doors of two-door models. Each enclosure comes with a hardware kit that includes panel mounting nuts, grounding hardware, and sealing washers. Single-door enclosures utilize a three-point latch system for heights equal to or greater than 42 inches, whereas window-door enclosures have a clear polycarbonate window flush with the door surface. The mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures extends fully around the unit, while the two-door enclosures feature an overlapping door design for full-width access and a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door with a flush slotted insert. An illustrated instruction sheet is also provided.
