Concept™ enclosures are designed for machine control applications, featuring streamlined styling, flush quarter-turn latches, and a durable finish. These enclosures come in solid or window single-door and two-door landscape configurations, as well as flush-mount and sloped-top versions to offer application and mounting flexibility. The two-door landscape models allow for full-width access and facilitate easy panel installation. Constructed from 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel, the seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, with corner-formed doors and simple hinge pins that are easy to remove and install. These enclosures feature high-torque threadless studs and fasteners on the door, a minimum-width body flange for maximum door opening of 210 degrees, and an external formed body flange. Additionally, the panel mounting studs fit optional Concept panels and other accessories, and there are mounting holes in the back for optional external wall-mount brackets. They include hidden hinges, interchangeable doors that can be easily removed using clip-style hinge pins, and a seamless foam-in-place gasket. The quarter-turn slotted latch provides security, while doors wider than 30 inches come with a door alignment device. Four hinges are standard on 60-inch high enclosures, and grounding studs are provided on the body with bonding provisions on the door (excluding window-door models). Other features include provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket on right-hand hinged doors of two-door models and a hardware kit containing panel mounting nuts, panel grounding hardware, and sealing washers. Single-door enclosures feature a three-point latch system on sizes equal to or greater than 42 inches, while window-door enclosures come with a clear polycarbonate window flush with the door surface. The mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures extends completely around the enclosure, and two-door enclosures include an overlapping door design for full-width access, complemented by a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door equipped with a flush slotted insert. Each kit is accompanied by an illustrated instruction sheet.
