Concept™ enclosures are designed specifically for machine control applications, featuring a streamlined style with flush quarter-turn latches and a durable finish. The kit includes options for solid or window single-door and two-door landscape configurations, as well as flush-mount and sloped-top versions, allowing for versatile application and mounting. The two-door landscape models offer full-width access and facilitate easy panel installation. The enclosures are constructed from 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel with continuously welded seams that are ground smooth, and they include corner-formed doors. They feature simple, easy-to-remove hinge pins with a built-in captivation clip, high-torque threadless studs and fasteners on the door, and a minimum-width body flange that maximizes the door opening to 210 degrees. Other attributes include an external formed body flange, panel mounting studs that fit optional Concept panels and accessories, and mounting holes in the back for optional external wall-mount brackets. The enclosures have hidden hinges, interchangeable doors removable by clip-style hinge pins, seamless foam-in-place gaskets, and quarter-turn slotted latches. Additional features include a door alignment device for doors wider than 30 inches, four hinges on 60-inch-high enclosures, grounding studs on the body with bonding provisions on the door (excluding window-door models), and provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket on two-door models. The hardware kit comprises panel mounting nuts, grounding hardware, and sealing washers. Single-door enclosures are equipped with a three-point latch system when the width is equal to or greater than 42 inches, while window-door enclosures feature a clear polycarbonate window flush with the door surface. The mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures extends completely around the enclosure, and the two-door enclosures are designed with an overlapping door configuration to provide full-width access and a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door.
