The Hoffman CSD24206 Concept™ wall-mount enclosure is constructed from steel with a gray finish and measures 24.00x20.00x6.00 inches, making it suitable for machine control applications. This enclosure features options in 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. It includes corner-formed doors and simple, easy-to-remove hinge pins equipped with built-in captivation clips. The design accommodates high-torque threadless studs and fasteners on the door, while a minimum-width body flange allows for maximum door opening of 210 degrees. Additional features include an external formed body flange, panel mounting studs for optional Concept panels and accessories, and mounting holes in the back for optional external wall-mount brackets. The enclosure is designed with hidden hinges, interchangeable doors that can be easily removed, a seamless foam-in-place gasket, and quarter-turn slotted latches. For doors wider than 30 inches, a door alignment device is included, while four hinges are provided on 60-inch-high enclosures. Grounding provisions are available on the body and bonding on the door, excluding window-door models. It also offers provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket on right-hand hinged doors, and the hardware kit includes panel mounting nuts, panel grounding hardware, and sealing washers. Single-door enclosures utilize a three-point latch system when the height is equal to or greater than 42 inches, and window-door enclosures feature a clear polycarbonate window flush with the door surface. Additionally, the mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures extends completely around, and the two-door enclosures are designed with an overlapping door structure that provides full-width access, complemented by a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door.
