Consolets are designed for mounting small control or instrumentation devices with 30- or 60-degree surface access. These versatile enclosures can be mounted on either of two sides, allowing for placement on desktops, pedestals, or other flat surfaces. The kit includes features such as 14-gauge steel construction, continuously welded seams that are ground smooth, and no holes or knockouts. The enclosures are equipped with captivated cover screws that thread into sealed wells, a bonding provision on the cover, and an oil-resistant gasket with adhesive. Additionally, the control panel is attached using a continuous hinge along the bottom edge.
