The Hoffman E4PBX is an extra-deep push button enclosure designed to accommodate 30.5mm and 22.5mm pushbuttons and switches, featuring dimensions of 11.00 x 4.22 inches. Constructed from 16 or 14 gauge steel, the enclosure boasts continuously welded and ground smooth seams, captivated cover screws that thread into sealed wells, and a grounding nut within the body of the enclosure. It includes a bonding provision on the cover, an oil-resistant gasket, and factory-stamped 4-way pushbutton holes. For enclosures measuring 6.00 x 4.00 x 4.75 inches (152 x 102 x 121 mm) and larger, there is an internal detachable hinge that allows the cover to remain open during wiring, as well as facilitate the immediate removal of external wall-mounting brackets.
