The Hoffman A1212CHNF is a J Box with a hinged cover, designed to meet Type 4 specifications, and measures 12.00 x 12.00 x 6.00 inches. Constructed from gray 16 or 14 gauge steel, the box features continuously welded seams that are ground smooth for aesthetic appeal. It is equipped with stainless steel clamps on three sides of the door, a continuous hinge with a stainless steel hinge pin, and an oil-resistant gasket to ensure environmental protection and security for indoor or outdoor applications. Additionally, weldnuts are provided for the mounting of optional panels and terminal block kits in sizes 6.00 x 4.00 inches (152 x 102 mm) and larger. The design also includes a bonding provision on the door and external wall-mounting brackets to facilitate installation.
