The enclosure features a chain-secured, lift-off clamp cover that meets basic functionality requirements for housing controls and instrumentation. It is constructed from either 16 or 14 gauge steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. The enclosure includes external screw clamps and a bonding provision on the cover, while a chain holds the cover to the box when it is removed. Additionally, it is equipped with an oil-resistant gasket and weldnuts that facilitate the mounting of optional panels and terminal block kits in size 6.00 x 4.00 in. (152 x 102 mm) and larger. The design allows for external wall-mounting brackets for added versatility.
