The Hoffman S303015SS Syspend™ sanitary HMI enclosure is a Type 4X enclosure measuring 11.81 x 11.81 x 5.91 inches, constructed from 1.2-mm thick (18 gauge) Type 304 stainless steel, specifically designed to house process control equipment in sanitary washdown environments, particularly in food and beverage manufacturing. This enclosure features clean design elements and meets Type 4X and IP69K requirements for high-pressure, high-temperature washdown applications. Its seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, and it includes a one-piece, closed-cell silicone gasket for enhanced sealing. Additional features include a bonding provision on the door and a grounding stud on the body, while the door is secured with two stainless steel quarter-turn latches with a flush slotted insert. The panel studs on the door accommodate optional NEMA-style panels. The furnished hardware kit consists of an illustrated instruction sheet, grounding hardware, an internal support plate, a suspension arm adapter, and the necessary hardware for attaching the support plate and adapter.
