The Scimatco 4x2.5 liter (acid), 4x1 gal. (flammable) Mini Stak-A-Cab™ combo acid/flammable cabinet features self-closing functionality on the flammable side, with dimensions of 31" W x 14-1/2" D x 17" H. This cabinet is constructed from 1" multi-ply exterior-grade plywood and integrates the safety features of both an acid cabinet and a flammable storage cabinet, effectively providing two separate cabinets in one unit. It is designed for stacking or can be used as a stand-alone unit on a laboratory bench. The cabinet floor is equipped with a 2" liquid-tight trough to contain spills. Security features include an internal metal lock on the flammable side and a plastic hasp with padlock on the corrosive side. All cabinets are built to meet or exceed all applicable NFPA and OSHA standards, and the self-closing door models adhere to the Uniform Fire Code standards, specifically on the flammable door. Scimatco has identified states requiring self-closing doors for flammable cabinets per the UFC, including AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, and WY. Customers are advised to verify local compliance with UFC prior to ordering cabinets for flammable storage.
