The retractable handles are designed for situations where the handle needs to be withdrawn during automatic operation. The handle can be pulled out of its taper seating in the direction indicated and then tilted, with a compression spring that locks the handle in both end positions. A positive lock is provided in the operating position through a tapered seating mechanism. These handles can withstand a maximum heat resistance of 150°C (300°F) and are available with a nylon plastic handpiece upon request.
