Safety retractable handles GN 798.7 are designed for applications that require the handle to not remain in the operating position. To engage the handle, it must be pulled up 90° from its retracted position against a torsion spring until it reaches a stop, after which it is pushed against spring pressure into its hold position. By maintaining forward thrust on the handle, the handwheel can be easily rotated. Upon release, the spring automatically retracts the handle. The maximum heat resistance of the technopolymer plastic handpiece is 90°C (195°F). Stainless steel versions are available upon request in certain minimum quantities.
