Each locker is equipped with a hat shelf for storing or charging a laptop separately from the main storage compartment. The locker comes with a DigiTech electronic lock that operates in day use mode for multi-user applications and can be reprogrammed for permanent use for assigned lockers. The design includes side ventilation for maximum airflow to ensure cooling while maintaining security, and a light gray powder coat finish for durability. The body is made from 16 gauge cold rolled sheet steel with diamond perforated sides, featuring options for 3-tier and 4-tier configurations, a 14 gauge solid sheet door, and a 16 gauge continuous piano hinge. It includes one fixed hat shelf per opening and has built-in channels for concealed aftermarket wiring to facilitate the installation of electrical outlets in each opening.
