The Jet® SSC Series Electric Chain Hoist has a lifting capacity of 5 tons and a standard lift height of 15 feet, operating on 115V/230V power supply. This hoist is designed for commercial and industrial applications, featuring a slip clutch overload protection mechanism to prevent lifting beyond its rated capacity. It is available in single or three-phase configurations, with single-phase models equipped with thermal overload protection to avoid overheating, while three-phase models include a reverse phase relay for wiring protection. The industry-standard DC electromagnetic brake ensures load security even during power outages, and limit switches are included to prevent over-travel of the load chain. The maintenance-free gear train features a sealed oil bath for enhanced reliability, while the durable grade 80 black oxide-coated load chain enhances longevity. The control pendant is a 24-volt push-button controller with cable strain relief for added durability. The hoist is available in a range of capacities from 1/2 ton to 5 tons and standard lift options of 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lift heights available upon request.
