The Jet® SSC Series Electric Chain Hoist has a lifting capacity of 2 tons and a lift height of 10 ft, operating on a voltage of 230V/460V. Designed for both commercial and industrial applications, this hoist features a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents lifting loads exceeding its rated capacity. Available in single or three-phase configurations, the single-phase models include thermal overload protection to prevent overheating, while the three-phase models are equipped with a reverse phase relay for protection against incorrect wiring. The hoist is further enhanced by an industry-proven DC electromagnetic brake, ensuring that the load is held securely even during power interruptions. The maintenance-free gear train utilizes a sealed oil bath for enhanced reliability and durability. The hoist incorporates limit switches that prevent over-travel of the load chain. It is constructed with a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for improved durability, and a 24-volt push button control pendant for user convenience. The Jet® SSC Series Electric Hoist is available in a range of capacities from 1/2 ton to 5 tons, with standard lift options of 10, 15, and 20 feet, along with custom lift solutions available upon request.
