The JET® SSC Series Electric Chain Hoist is designed for commercial and industrial applications and has a capacity of 3 tons with a lift height of 15 feet, operating on 115V/230V power supplies. This hoist features a slip clutch overload protection mechanism, ensuring it does not lift loads exceeding its rated capacity, while the single phase models include thermal overload protection to prevent overheating. The three phase models are equipped with a reverse phase relay to safeguard against incorrect wiring. Additional safety features include a DC electromagnetic brake that secures the load during power interruptions and upper and lower limit switches that prevent over-travel of the load chain. Durability is enhanced by a maintenance-free sealed gear train and a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain. The hoist comes with a 24-volt push button control pendant that includes a cable strain relief. The JET® SSC Series Electric Hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 5 tons with standard lift heights of 10, 15, and 20 feet, and custom lifts are also available.
