The JET® SSC Series electric chain hoist has a lifting capacity of 3 tons and offers a 10 ft. lift with a 3 phase power supply at 230V/460V. Designed for both commercial and industrial applications, this hoist features a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents lifting loads beyond its rated capacity. It is available in single or three phase configurations; single phase models include thermal overload protection to prevent overheating, while three phase models are equipped with a reverse phase relay for protection against incorrect wiring. The hoist features a DC electro-magnetic brake, ensuring safety by holding the load during power interruptions, and includes upper and lower limit switches to prevent over-traveling of the load chain. The maintenance-free gear train utilizes a sealed oil bath for reliability, along with a durable Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain. Additionally, it comes with a 24-volt push button control pendant. The JET® SSC Series hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 5 tons, with standard lift options of 10, 15, and 20 feet, and custom lifts can be requested.
