The JET® SSC Series electric chain hoist features a lifting capacity of 3 tons and a lift height of 15 feet, operating on a 3 phase electrical configuration at either 230V or 460V. This hoist is designed for commercial and industrial applications, incorporating a slip clutch overload protection mechanism to prevent the lifting of loads above the rated capacity. It also includes thermal overload protection in single phase models and a reverse phase relay in three phase models, safeguarding against incorrect wiring. An industry-proven DC electro-magnetic brake enhances safety by securing the load even during power interruptions. Maintenance is simplified with a sealed oil bath gear train and a durable Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain. The hoist is equipped with a 24-volt push button control pendant and features limit switches that prevent overtravel of the load chain. The JET® SSC Series is available in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 5 tons and offers standard lift heights of 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lifts available.
