The JET® SSC Series electric chain hoist offers a lifting capacity of 3 tons and a lift height of 20 ft., compatible with both 115V and 230V electrical configurations. This hoist is designed for commercial and industrial applications, featuring a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents lifting loads beyond its rated capacity. Single-phase models include thermal overload protection to safeguard against overheating, while three-phase models are equipped with a reverse phase relay to protect against incorrect wiring. The hoist is enhanced with a DC electro-magnetic brake, ensuring the load remains secure in the event of a power interruption. The maintenance-free gear train is housed in a sealed oil bath for improved reliability and durability, while the Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain ensures long-lasting performance. Additional features include upper and lower limit switches to prevent over-travel of the load chain, as well as a 24-volt push button control pendant with cable strain relief for ease of operation. The JET® SSC Series electric hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 5 tons, with standard lifts of 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lift options also available.
