The JET® SSC Series electric chain hoist is designed for commercial and industrial applications, offering a lifting capacity of 2 tons and a lift height of 20 ft, powered by 115V/230V. This electric hoist features a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents the lifting of loads exceeding its rated capacity. It is available in both single and three-phase configurations, with single-phase models incorporating thermal overload protection to avoid overheating, and three-phase models equipped with a reverse phase relay to guard against incorrect wiring. The hoist includes a DC electro-magnetic brake that ensures the load remains secured even during power interruptions, while upper and lower limit switches prevent the load chain from over traveling. Constructed for durability, it features a maintenance-free gear train with a sealed oil bath and a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain. The hoist is controlled via a 24-volt push button controller with cable strain relief. The JET® SSC Series offers capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 5 tons, with standard lift heights of 10, 15, and 20 feet, as well as options for custom lift heights. The product is compliant with all relevant safety standards and certifications.
