The JET® SSC Series electric chain hoist has a lifting capacity of 3 tons and a lift height of 10 ft, operating at 115V/230V. This hoist is designed for both commercial and industrial applications, featuring a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents lifting loads beyond its rated capacity. It is available in single-phase and three-phase configurations, with single-phase models equipped with thermal overload protection to prevent overheating, while three-phase models include a reverse phase relay to guard against incorrect wiring. The hoist is outfitted with an industry-proven DC electromagnetic brake for safety, which secures the load during power interruptions, and limit switches for enhanced safety by preventing over-travel of the load chain.
