The OZ lifting lever hoist features a standard overload protection and has a 6 ton capacity with a 10 ft lift. This premium lever hoist is available in capacities ranging from 0.75 ton to 9 ton and standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 ft, all of which are stocked. The hoist is custom rigged and tested in the U.S.A., incorporating many features and benefits that enhance safety compared to standard hoists. The integral standard overload protection is factory set to prevent overloading by disabling hoist operation when activated; the operator must then lower or release the load and select a higher capacity hoist or consult a specialist. The hoist requires 20% to 35% less effort than competing models, making it ideal for frequent lifting or pulling tasks. It incorporates fully enclosed gearing to protect against contamination and debris and has an all-steel construction for strength, durability, and long service life. Hooks are forged alloy steel with cast steel safety latches secured by bolts and lock nuts instead of roller pins, facilitating easy field latch replacements. A free wheel feature allows disengagement of gearing when not under load by positioning the selection switch to the center, enabling quick chain adjustments for faster operation. The machined lift wheel is designed to perfectly accept the chain for smooth, long-lasting performance, and both hand and load chains are electro zinc plated to provide a durable, non-oily finish.
