The OZ lifting lever hoist features a standard overload protection with a 9-ton capacity and a 10-foot lift, available in capacities from 0.75 ton through 9 ton with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet. Each hoist is rigged and tested in the U.S.A. and designed with multiple safety features including a factory-set overload integral to the hoist preventing operation if overload occurs, requiring the load to be lowered or released before selecting a larger capacity hoist or consulting a specialist. The hoist requires 20% to 35% less effort to lift heavy loads, making it ideal for frequent lifting and pulling applications. It has fully enclosed gearing that protects against contamination, all steel construction for durability and long service life, forged alloy steel hooks with cast steel safety latches secured by bolts and lock nuts for easy field latch replacement, and a free wheel feature allowing disengagement of gearing when not under load for faster chain adjustment. The machined lift wheel accepts the chain smoothly, and the electro zinc plated hand and load chain provides a durable, non-oily finish. Additionally, the pull handle and safety chain stop enable quick disengagement when not under load.
