The OZ lifting lever hoist features a standard overload protection with a 9 ton capacity and a 15-foot lift, designed as a premium lever hoist available in capacities ranging from 0.75 ton to 9 ton with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, all stocked and custom rigged and tested in the U.S.A. The hoist includes overload protection that is factory set and integral with the unit, preventing operation if overloaded and requiring the load to be lowered or released before continuing use or selecting a larger capacity hoist. It requires 20% to 35% less effort compared to competitors, making it ideal for frequent lifting or pulling applications. The hoist contains fully enclosed gearing to protect against contamination and debris, all steel construction for strength, durability, and long service life, and forged alloy steel hooks with cast steel safety latches secured by bolt and lock nut connections for easy field latch replacement. A free wheel feature allows the disengagement of the gearing when not under load via a center position on the selection switch for rapid chain adjustments, and the machined lift wheel facilitates smooth, long-lasting operation by perfectly accepting the chain. The hand and load chains are electro zinc plated for a durable, non-oily finish, and the pull handle with a safety chain stop allows quick disengagement when not under load. The hoist is certified and tested to meet industry standards and includes warranty terms as specified by the manufacturer.
