The Oz Lifting Manual Chain Hoist features a standard overload protection system with a capacity of 2 tons and a 10-foot lift, catering to a range from 0.5 ton to 30 ton, with 50 ton available via special order. Standard lifts are available at 10 and 20 feet, with all standard lifts in stock. Each hoist is custom rigged, tested, and made in the U.S.A., incorporating numerous features not typical in standard hoists, thereby enhancing safety. The hoist includes a standard overload protection that is factory set, preventing overload by disabling operation when activated. The unique hand wheel design allows the hand chain to feed into the wheel sprocket from various angles, enabling operation from the side or above the load without jamming. These units require 20% to 35% less effort than competitors, making them ideal for frequent lifting and pulling. The fully enclosed gearing protects against contamination, while all-steel construction ensures strength and durability for a long service life. Each hoist is equipped with forged alloy steel hooks and cast steel safety latches, designed with a bolt and lock nut connection for easy latch replacement. Additionally, a thrust bearing on the lower hook facilitates load rotation without twisting the load chain. The electro zinc plated hand and load chain further enhances durability and resistance to corrosion.
