The Oz Lifting manual chain hoist is designed with standard overload protection and has a capacity of 3 tons with a lift height of 20 feet. This premium chain hoist is available in capacities ranging from 0.5 ton to 30 tons, with 50 tons available via special order. Standard lifts of 10 and 20 feet are readily in stock, and the hoists are custom rigged and tested in the U.S.A. Key features include standard overload protection that is factory set and integral to the hoist, preventing operation when overloaded. The unique hand wheel design allows the hand chain to feed directly into the wheel sprocket from multiple directions, facilitating operation from various positions. These hoists require 20% - 35% less lifting effort than competing models, making them ideal for frequent lifting and pulling applications. The fully enclosed gearing protects the internal components from contamination and debris, while the robust all-steel construction ensures durability and longevity. It features forged alloy steel hooks with cast steel safety latches that utilize a bolt and lock nut connection for easy field maintenance. Additionally, a thrust bearing on the lower hook enables easy load rotation and prevents twisting of the load chain, and the hand and load chain are electro zinc plated for added protection.
