The Oz Lifting manual chain hoist features standard overload protection with a 5-ton capacity and a 20-foot lift, designed to provide safety and efficiency for a variety of lifting and pulling applications. This premium chain hoist is available in capacities ranging from 0.5 ton to 30 tons (with a 50-ton option available upon special request) and offers standard lift options of 10 and 20 feet, all of which are in stock. Each unit is custom rigged to meet specific needs and is rigged and tested in the U.S.A. Key features include a standard overload protection system that is integral with the hoist, preventing overload conditions by halting operation when activated; a unique hand wheel design allowing the hand chain to feed directly into the wheel sprocket from various angles; and a requirement of 20% - 35% less lifting effort compared to competitors. The fully enclosed gearing offers protection from contamination, while the all-steel construction ensures durability and longevity. Additionally, the forged alloy steel hooks and cast steel safety latches feature a bolt and lock nut connection for ease of maintenance, and a thrust bearing on the lower hook enhances load rotation while minimizing chain twisting. The hand and load chains are electro zinc plated for added corrosion resistance.
