The Oz Lifting Light Portable Composite Davit Crane has a lifting capacity of 1200 lbs and features a lightweight construction, approximately 40% lighter than steel, due to its advanced composite material. This innovative design incorporates durable steel components, making it both strong and corrosion resistant. The crane includes a 1/4" wire rope with a full drum of 50', and features a boom/extension and mast made from the composite material. Key features include a 4-position boom, a ratchet screw jack for boom height adjustment under load, and 360-degree rotation of the crane on a sleeve bearing. The unit is equipped with a DIN-rated hand winch that comes standard with a load-holding weatherproof Weston brake, and it accepts two different cable termination points: swaged ball fitting or bare end cable. It also includes a quick connect winch handle with a power drill adapter. The crane can be easily assembled or disassembled without tools, making it highly portable and versatile, with the added benefit of being able to break down into smaller pieces for transport. Additionally, all-metal davit cranes are typically around 150 lbs, whereas this composite model weighs about half that, truly enhancing its portability for various applications. Pedestal or socket bases are sold separately and come with a mounting template, and the crane features smart latch technology at the boom/mast connection.
