Oz Lifting Pedestal Base for Composite Davit Crane is designed for a maximum lifting capacity of 1200 lbs, featuring a composite davit crane equipped with a 1/4" wire rope that offers a full drum length of 50'. This innovative crane is crafted from advanced composite materials, making it approximately 40% lighter than traditional steel cranes, while still providing exceptional strength and durability. The boom/extension and mast are constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, with metal components that are MIL-SPEC zinc plated. The crane includes an external handle for easy rotation under load, a 4-position boom, and a ratchet screw jack that allows for adjustments under load, granting an infinite range of lift. It offers 360-degree rotation on a sleeve bearing and requires no tools for installation. Additionally, the DIN-rated hand winch features a load-holding weatherproof Weston brake, accepts two cable termination points (swaged ball fitting or bare end cable), and comes with a quick connect winch handle and power drill adapter. The pedestal or socket bases are sold separately and include a mounting template. The smart latch technology at the boom/mast connection enhances stability and safety during operation.
