The Davit Crane has a capacity of 1200 lbs and features a composite design with a 1/4" wire rope and a full drum length of 50'. This innovative crane is lightweight, approximately 40% lighter than steel, and constructed from advanced composite materials combined with durable steel components, making it both portable and corrosion resistant. The metal components are MIL-SPEC zinc plated for added durability. It includes a boom with four position options and a ratchet screw jack that adjusts the boom under load for an infinite range of lift. The crane offers 360-degree rotation on a sleeve bearing and features an external handle for rotation under load. Installation is tool-free, and it comes standard with a DIN-rated hand winch equipped with a load-holding weatherproof Weston brake, which accepts two cable termination points: a swaged ball fitting or bare end cable. The kit includes a quick connect winch handle with a power drill adapter. Although pedestal or socket bases are sold separately, a mounting template is provided. The smart latch technology at the boom/mast connection enhances safety and usability. The crane can be disassembled quickly without any tools, making it highly portable for transportation between sites or up to elevated structures.
