The Davit Crane is designed with a 1200 lbs. capacity and features a composite construction that utilizes 1/4" wire rope with a full drum length of 50'. It includes a swivel hook with a latch and a ball end fitting. This innovative crane combines strong, lightweight composite materials with durable steel components, making it approximately 40% lighter than traditional steel cranes. Key features include a boom/extension and mast made of advanced composite material, corrosion resistance, and MIL-SPEC zinc-plated metal components. The crane offers an external handle for rotating under load, a 4-position boom, and a ratchet screw jack that adjusts the boom under load for an infinite lifting range. It allows for 360-degree rotation on a sleeve bearing, requires no tools for installation, and comes standard with a DIN-rated hand winch equipped with a load-holding weatherproof Weston brake. The hand winch supports two different cable termination points, and a quick-connect winch handle with a power drill adapter is included. Pedestal or socket bases are sold separately, accompanied by a mounting template. Smart latch technology is incorporated at the boom/mast connection. The crane can be easily disassembled without tools, enhancing its portability for transport from site to site or for use on elevated structures.
