The SHC mini-tank water heaters are designed to efficiently supply hot water at sinks for hand washing or kitchen applications, saving both water and electricity by delivering hot water directly where needed, minimizing the length of pipe runs from a central hot water tank. This compact unit features a small tank with excellent insulation, reducing standby losses compared to larger tank water heaters, and significantly decreasing the wait time for hot water at the tap. The SHC can also be installed in-line with a central tank to enable immediate hot water draws and can buffer temperatures in a domestic hot water recirculation loop. Its lightweight and compact design allows for easy mounting under or near sinks with the included bracket, and it operates on a standard 120-volt outlet without the need for special wiring. The kit includes a T&P valve that must be installed for safety.
