The product features a non-fading, non-cracking, rigid black thermoplastic base with a self-sealing collar that slides over the pipe and requires no caulking. It is important to avoid using petroleum-based products or paint on the flashing collar or plastic base, and the product is not suitable for hot-mopped or built-up roofs. The plastic base accommodates pitches from 0-45° or up to a 12/12 roof and is rated for continuous heat up to 180°F, while being approved for Type B installations.
