The kit includes a non-fading, non-cracking black thermoplastic base with a self-sealing collar that slides over the pipe and requires no caulking. It is not suitable for use with petroleum-based products or paint on the flashing collar or plastic base and should not be used for hot-mopped or built-up roofs. The plastic base accommodates pitches from 0-45° or up to a 12/12 roof. It is rated for continuous heat up to 180°F and is approved for Type B installations.
