The low-profile, vertically-oriented L-Box™ wall-mount cabinet is an extremely versatile solution designed for public settings, allowing for the mounting, storage, and protection of network equipment, patch panels, and connections. The cabinet features a hinged, L-shaped door that provides full access on two sides to the installed equipment while accommodating varying equipment sizes through fixed rack angles. It is manufactured from 14 gauge mild steel, with self-grounding mounting angles made of 12 gauge plated steel. The cabinet also includes a bonding provision on the door and a ground stud on the body. Compliance with industry standards is ensured through the EIA universal 5/8 - 5/8 - 1/2 in. rack angle mounting hole pattern, with tapped holes of 10-32.
