Inline™ EMC enclosures offer a combination of style, functionality, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection. Constructed from 16 gauge (1.4-mm) steel, the enclosures feature seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, along with an external formed body flange and large perimeter body opening. They include fastening holes in the back for direct mounting or the option of external mounting brackets, as well as a bonding provision (M6) on the cover and a grounding stud (M6) on the body. The interior is lined with metalized non-woven fabric for EMI/RFI shielding and includes a UL94HP-rated urethane foam gasket. Plated interior surfaces ensure effective gasket contact at conduit entries, and the furnished hardware kit contains panel mounting screws, grounding hardware, and sealing washers for wall-mounting holes, accompanied by installation instructions. The enclosures are designed to provide shielding effectiveness greater than 50 dB at 1 GHz, and they come as either screw-cover or hinged-door options. The hinged-door models feature a 180-degree door opening, a removable solid door with two barrel hinges, and a self-grounding quarter-turn latch.
