The shipping container offers maximum protection at a reasonable price and is designed to meet ATA specifications. It is constructed from .150 high-density polyethylene, featuring a steel tongue-and-groove frame, galvanized steel angles, recessed latches and handles, and a continuous hinge. The container has a 5" deep lid and is filled with layers of 2" foam for added protection. The inside dimensions measure 24"L x 22"W x 20"H, while the outer dimensions are 26"L x 24"W x 22"H. A cutting knife is also included with the kit.
