The Dynabrade 52634 is a 4-1/2" diameter right angle disc sander featuring a powerful 1.3 HP (970 W) motor capable of reaching speeds up to 12,000 RPM. The kit includes a 51148 backing pad with a diameter of 4-1/2" (114 mm) along with mounting hardware, and it accepts optional abrasive discs of the same diameter with a 7/8" (22 mm) center hole. This right angle sander is ideal for various applications in industries such as metal/stainless steel fabrication, composites, masonry, ironwork, and general welding. It boasts several features designed to enhance efficiency and operator comfort, including a vibration dampening side handle that can be removed for left or right-hand use, and a rotational exhaust system that directs exhaust away from the operator by rotating a full 360 degrees. The tool housing and handle are constructed of solid cast aluminum, ensuring durability. A safety-lock throttle lever helps prevent accidental start-up and features no sharp edges or pinch-points. Additionally, a wick-lube system extends gear life with simple lubrication, and all models come with gear oil and a gear oil gun. The insulated throttle handle minimizes cold air transmission to the operator's hand, and the adjustable handle position enhances comfort and efficiency. This model replaces part numbers 51371, 50345, and 50360.
