The Hoffman A24H2408SS6LP is a continuous hinge enclosure designed for use in Type 4X applications, featuring dimensions of 24.00 x 24.00 x 8.00 inches and constructed from SS type 316L stainless steel. This enclosure combines aesthetic styling with functionality, featuring flush latches and an attractive stroked finish. It includes covers and doors made from 16 gauge stainless steel and 14 gauge bodies, with options for Type 304 or 316L materials. The seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, complemented by an external formed body flange trough to prevent contamination. The enclosure provides a large perimeter body opening, fastening holes in the back for direct mounting or optional brackets, and a seamless foam-in-place gasket. The hardware kit furnished contains panel mounting screws, grounding hardware, and sealing washers for wall-mounting. The design incorporates captivated Type 316 stainless steel cover screws with sealing bushings made from a durable composite material, and integral compression stops maintain optimal gasket compression. The hinged-door model features a 180-degree door opening and removable Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins, along with a standard self-grounding, slotted, quarter-turn latch system with a double seal.
