The Hoffman E1PBXSS is an extra deep PB enclosure designed to accommodate either 30.5-mm or 22.5-mm oil-tight pushbuttons, switches, and pilot lights, featuring dimensions of 1PBX30.5MM. Constructed from SS Type 304 stainless steel, the enclosure offers robust protection against dirt, dust, oil, and water. Key features include 14 gauge bodies and 16 gauge covers, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. The enclosure is equipped with captivated cover screws that thread into sealed wells, a bonding provision on the door, and a grounding nut on the body. It features 4-way pushbutton holes compatible with all brands of oil-tight pushbuttons, switches, and pilot lights. For enclosures with multiple columns of pushbutton holes, an internal detachable hinge allows the cover to remain open during wiring while permitting immediate removal. Additionally, the enclosure is fitted with an oil-resistant gasket. The product complies with relevant industry standards and certifications.
