The Hoffman CSD24248SS Concept™ wall mount enclosure is a Type 4X enclosure designed for both indoor and outdoor EMC applications, measuring 24.00 x 24.00 x 8.00 inches. Constructed from 14 gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it is well-suited for containing larger controls in corrosive environments. The enclosure features a stainless steel, woven-mesh encased gasket that effectively keeps out contaminants and provides EMI/RFI shielding for internal components. Notable attributes include continuously welded and ground smooth seams, a seamless foam-in-place gasket adjacent to the woven Monel EMC mesh gasket, and a rolled lip around three sides of the door. Additional features consist of stainless steel door clamp assemblies, a hasp and staple for padlocking, a removable door with a continuous hinge, a high impact thermoplastic data pocket, collar studs for mounting optional panels, a bonding provision on the door, and a grounding stud on the body.
