The Hoffman A1212CHNFSS6 is a single-door J Box designed for housing electronic controls and components, featuring a continuous hinge with clamps and constructed from SS Type 316L stainless steel. This enclosure complies with Type 4X standards and measures 12.00 x 12.00 x 6.00 inches, providing robust protection against non-corrosive and mildly corrosive elements in both indoor and outdoor applications. It incorporates 14 gauge Type 304 stainless steel for the doors and body, with 14 or 12 gauge for the back, and all seams are continuously welded and ground smooth. The design includes a flange trough collar on all four sides of the door openings and a seamless foam-in-place one-piece gasket that ensures a water-, oil-, and dust-tight seal against contaminants. It features black die-cast quarter-turn latches with a slotted insert on three sides of the door, concealed stainless steel hinges that allow for a 180-degree door opening, and heavy-duty Type 316L stainless steel lifting eyes. Additionally, internal accessory mounting channels are welded horizontally to the sides at the top, bottom, and center of the enclosure, and a high-impact plastic data pocket kit is included, which is attached with pressure-sensitive adhesive. The enclosure also has a bonding provision on the door and a grounding stud on the body, along with an accessory mounting channel provided in the top.
