Designed to house systems incorporating large components or complex mounting configurations, these enclosures feature a three-point latching and sealing mechanism that provides industry-leading protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water. They are utilized in machine tool applications for housing motor starters, drives, contactors, and PLCs, as well as a wide variety of other electrical and electronic equipment. The addition of 19-inch rack-mounting accessories enhances their suitability for protecting sensitive rack-mounted components in harsh industrial environments. Available in four styles for maximum flexibility, the options include one-door single-access enclosures, one-door dual-access enclosures, two-door single-access enclosures, and two-door dual-access enclosures, all constructed from 12 gauge type 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams that are ground smooth and feature no holes or knockouts. Two-door enclosures come with a removable centerpost for easy panel installation, while heavy-duty lifting eyes are crafted from type 316L stainless steel. A heavy-duty three-point latching mechanism is operated by a type 316L stainless steel Powerglide™ padlocking handle, and a seamless foam-in-place gasket ensures a water-tight and dust-tight seal. The body flange trough collar excludes liquids and contaminants, and latch rods are equipped with rollers to facilitate easier door closing. Each door is supported by heavy-gauge continuous hinges, and a high-impact thermoplastic data pocket is included with each enclosure. Mounting channels are welded horizontally to the interior body sides at the top, bottom, and center, allowing optional panels and rack mounting angles to be mounted anywhere along these channels. Additionally, there is a bonding provision on the door and a grounding stud on the body for enhanced safety and compliance.
