The Hoffman A1412CHNFSS J Box is a robust enclosure designed for housing systems incorporating large components or complex mounting configurations, featuring a continuous hinge with clamps and built to type 4X standards. With dimensions of 14.00 x 12.00 x 6.00 inches and constructed from 12 gauge type 304 stainless steel, it offers industry-leading protection from dust, dirt, oil, and water through its three-point latching and sealing system. This enclosure is suitable for various applications, including machine tool settings for housing motor starters, drives, contactors, and PLCs, as well as a broad range of other electrical and electronic equipment. It includes 19-inch rack-mounting accessories, making it ideal for safeguarding sensitive rack-mounted components in harsh environments. The design features four styles for flexibility, including single and dual-access enclosures with removable centerposts, while all seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, ensuring there are no holes or knockouts. Additional features include heavy-duty lifting eyes made from type 316L stainless steel, a three-point latching mechanism operated by a type 316L stainless steel Powerglide™ padlocking handle, a seamless foam-in-place gasket for a watertight and dust-tight seal, a body flange trough collar that excludes liquids and contaminants, latch rods with rollers for easier door closing, heavy-gauge continuous hinges, and a high-impact thermoplastic data pocket included with each enclosure.
