The Hoffman A36H2408SS6LP is a continuous hinge enclosure with clamps, classified as Type 4X, and measures 36.00 x 24.00 x 8.00 inches, constructed from SS Type 316L stainless steel. The Inline™ enclosures exhibit aesthetic styling with flush latches and a stroked finish, providing an ideal blend of style and functionality. These enclosures feature 16-gauge covers and doors, and 14-gauge bodies, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. The external formed body flange trough prevents contaminants from entering, and the design includes a large perimeter body opening with fastening holes at the back for direct mounting or optional external mounting brackets. A seamless foam-in-place gasket provides excellent sealing, complemented by an M6 bonding provision on the cover and an M6 ground stud in the body. The furnished hardware kit includes panel mounting screws, grounding hardware, and sealing washers for wall-mounting holes. Depending on the style, Inline screw-cover enclosures have captivated type 316 stainless steel cover screws with sealing bushings, while the hinged-door enclosures allow for a 180-degree door opening with removable type 316 stainless steel hinge pins and a standard self-grounding, slotted, quarter-turn latch system with double seal. The window-door enclosures feature a 3/16-inch (4.8-mm) clear polycarbonate window mounted flush with the cover surface, maintaining the same 180-degree door opening and hinge pin specifications as the other hinged-door designs.
