This two-door stainless steel enclosure with quarter-turn latches is designed to house electronic controls and components, offering protection from noncorrosive or mildly corrosive elements in both indoor and outdoor environments. Typical applications include the food and beverage, packaging, water, petroleum, and chemical processing industries. The enclosure features 14 gauge doors and a 12 gauge body made from Type 304 stainless steel, with continuously welded seams that are ground smooth. It includes a flange trough collar on all four sides of the door openings and a seamless foam-in-place one-piece gasket that provides a water-, oil-, and dust-tight seal against contaminants. Black die-cast quarter-turn latches with slotted inserts are provided on three sides of each door, and concealed hinges allow for a 180-degree door opening, facilitating easy door removal and cleaning of the hinge area. Additional attributes include bolt-on 12-in.-high stainless steel floor stands, heavy-duty Type 316L stainless steel lifting eyes, collar studs on the inside of the enclosure back for mounting optional panels, and a removable center post for easy panel installation. Bonding provisions are present on the doors, with grounding studs on the body. A data pocket made of high-impact plastic is attached with pressure-sensitive adhesive, and there are no interior stiffeners to obstruct component mounting, along with an accessory mounting channel provided in the enclosure top.
