The Hoffman A36H3008SSLP is a continuous hinge enclosure with clamps, classified as type 4X, and measuring 36.00 x 30.00 x 8.00 inches, constructed from type 304 stainless steel. This Inline™ enclosure's landscape orientation is ideal for mounting electrical components across the full width of the enclosure. It features 14 gauge type 304 stainless steel for the body and 16 gauge for the continuously welded and ground smooth door seams. The enclosure is designed with an external formed body flange and a large perimeter body opening, with mounting brackets that are spot-welded to the top and bottom and include predrilled holes for easy installation; customer-specific location holes can also be drilled for added flexibility. The seamless foam-in-place gasket provides a secure seal, while the M6 ground stud with base flange on the body and M6 bonding provision with base flange on the door enhance its functionality. The furnished hardware kit includes panel mounting screws and grounding hardware, and the hinged door features removable hinge pins along with a self-grounding quarter-turn latch system with a double seal. The door can open up to 180 degrees, and window door models come with a 3/16-inch (4.8-mm) clear polycarbonate window mounted flush with the door surface.
